Hlongwa CBO Network provides skills development opportunities to the unemployed youth at KwaMaphumulo training them in relevant skills that will improve their chances of getting jobs as well as increase access to economic opportunities through either formal employment or entrepreneurship. The aim is to reduce the adverse social effects such as school dropouts, alcohol and drug abuse, teenage pregnancies, health problems and crime by ensuring that the youth is meaningfully engaged through sustainable employment which will enhance their families and communities livelihood
